Our Boy Scout Troop 684 was one of the many Troops in Normandy, France from April 21 to April 23. We were there because of an International Camporee organized by the BSA association every 3 years. About 4000 scouts attend and camp in campgrounds next the beaches of D-Day. The purpose of the event is to inform scouts about the Second World War and particularly D-Day. Our Troop visited many different museums and learned a lot about the war and America’s contribution.
